Prof. Debra Sea reached out to Survivor contestant, Max Dawson (World’s Apart, Season 30) and asked him to be a guest speaker in her Media Ethics and Law class (MASC 3850). Max said sure and he Skyped into the classroom! Max had a few surprises in store for the students.
The first surprise was special guest, Joe Anglim (World’s Apart, Season 30 and Cambodia, Season 31). After a few minutes of lively discussion, another special guest was introduced and Kelly Wigglesworth (Borneo, Season 1 and Cambodia, Season 31) joined the conversation. Students enjoyed learning about the legal ramifications of the 100 page contract all the contestants sign. Everyone was fascinated to learn about the behind the scenes workings of the reality TV show.
